Formaldehyde (Formaldehid)
For our White High Gloss finishes (PU Topcoat), the formaldehyde level is tested to be less than 1 part per million (<1ppm). This ensures fresh indoor air quality without harsh chemical odors.
The Technology
Cefla Automatic Spraying
We do not rely on manual hand-spraying. We use the Cefla Italian Finishing Line to apply these Sherwin-Williams coatings. This automated process ensures a perfectly sealed, uniform “Piano Gloss” finish that locks in quality and locks out moisture.

Is TD Furniture safe for babies and young children?
Yes. Our coatings are verified lead-free (<90ppm) and ultra-low in formaldehyde (<1ppm on gloss topcoats), and our boards meet the E0 and CARB Phase 2 emission standards — designed for clean indoor air in nurseries and children's rooms.
What is E0 board and why does it matter?
E0 is the strictest formaldehyde-emission grade for engineered wood. Our MIECO E0 panels emit only 4.8 mg/100g, which means far less off-gassing and no lingering chemical smell in your home.
Is your furniture lead-free?

Is low-formaldehyde furniture better for asthma or allergies?
