How much weight can TD Furniture bookshelves hold?

Our standard shelves are rated 25-30kg per shelf. For heavy book collections, we recommend our reinforced 25mm thick shelves rated at 40kg. Floor-to-ceiling library walls include additional center supports for long spans.

Can I have a combination of open shelves and closed cabinets?

Yes — our most popular configuration combines open shelving above (for display and frequently used books) with closed lower cabinets (for storage and items you want hidden). Any ratio of open to closed can be customised.
